Becky has been the Reception class SLA at LWS since 2020.
She trained as a teacher as a postgraduate having gained a degree in English Literature. In between her degree and PGCE, Becky went to drama school and worked as an actor for many years.
Since being a teacher, Becky has worked in Year 1 at a Church of England School in Kingston followed by starting as the nursery teacher and progressing to Reception teacher and Head of Early Years at a small prep school in New Malden. Whilst there, Becky also gained her level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and set up a Forest School provision.
Becky is passionate about creative Early Years education immersed in play and surrounded by nature. She is a practising Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist and lives in Surbiton with her husband and two grown up sons.
