Since joining Liberty Woodland in August 2020, Hayley has progressed from SLA for Key Stage 2 to Assistant Head, overseeing the curriculum. She holds a BSc in Psychology from Brunel University and a PGCert in Primary Education.
Her teaching career began in West London, where she taught Years 4 and 6, led Maths for KS2, and supported schools in raising standards through the ‘Local Leaders of Education’ initiative. Hayley also mentored trainee teachers and moved on to be subject leader across the primary phase.
Internationally, Hayley has taught in the UAE and Malaysia, transitioning from Maths to English leadership roles. As Head of Cross-Curricular Learning in Kuala Lumpur, she also led on sustainability development across the primary campus.
Outside of her professional work, Hayley is passionate about travel, spiritual wellbeing, music, reading, nature, and environmental sustainability. She has led extra-curricular activities such as mindfulness, yoga, gardening, eco-warriors, microscopes and book club as she believes these develop vital skills in order to thrive both now and in the future.
