Rebecca Munro has been Senior Learning Associate for Year 5/6 at Liberty Woodland School since January 2024.
She started her career by studying a Bachelor of Education in Melbourne, Australia. Rebecca has taught for over twenty years, mostly in primary schools, but also in secondary schools and colleges. She has a real passion for global education and has taught in Australia, Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the UK. Some of this time included volunteering in rural Ethiopia, East Africa at a Teachers’ Training College, supporting local teachers in the delivery of the curriculum. Rebecca’s experience in international schools led to gaining a masters degree in international education/International Baccalaureate.
Rebecca’s biggest dream for education is for all children, regardless of place or circumstance, to have the opportunity to experience an education where curiosity and exploration rule. She loves that Liberty Woodland School is focussed on the development of the whole person.
