Rod has spent more than 30 years working in independent schools in Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom. He is a passionate exponent of a holistic approach to education in which a rigorous approach to academic education, an outstanding programme of extra-curricular opportunities go alongside with excellent pastoral care and personal development. He believes that it is essential not only that we educate our children to be global citizens but that we ensure they have the skills and the desire to change the world for the better. Rod has been Principal of Gosfield School , a small co-educational day school in North Essex since September 2021. Previously, he served as Head of The International Community School in Marylebone, an IB World School, offering the PYP, the MYP and the IBDP.
